Knot density is the honest measure of a hand-knotted rug. We quote it on every piece rather than describing the rug as “fine”.

Blends are the norm. Most rugs run wool for structure with silk carrying the drawing.

Rugaaya launched in Australia in 2026. We have no completed Australian installations yet, and we are not going to dress up renders as ones.

What follows are visualisations — pieces from the collection placed in a room so you can read scale, palette and how the drawing sits underfoot. When we have finished projects with permission to publish, they will replace this page and they will be named.
